The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 9 people on the 3 king beds and triple twin bunk bed, plus 4 additional can sleep on the 2 queen sofa sleepers. Bearfoot Chateau features 3 levels of floor area, a private screened deck, hot tub, rocking chairs, fireplace, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen, game/theater room, 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths and much more.

DRIVE: As we are in the mountains, you will drive thru' winding roads. Please drive with caution. If you’ve never stayed in the smokies the roads may seem challenging at first. Just take them slow and with caution and you’ll be an expert in no time.

WATER: The cabin uses water from the mountain well which is perfect for cooking and showering, but we recommend using bottled water and store-bought ice during your stay.

INCLEMENT WEATHER & POWER OUTAGES: The Smokies are not well equipped to handle inclement weather and in the Mountains we have to deal with Power Outages occasionally. Outages are most often resolved in under 3 hours. We do not have a backup generator at this property, as most cabins in the area do not. In the case of a power outage, you can inform me and I will report the outage. Because the house in on well water - the water will not work in case of an outage so extra water on hand is a good idea if the weather is bad. The gas fireplace will keep the cabin warm. We will do our best to assist however given we are individual cabin owners we do not have the ability to switch you to another property.

WILDLIFE: You'll be in the mountains and so nature-related elements are inevitable like weather and wildlife. You might see bears from time to time. Please do follow all the safety protocols.

FIREPLACE: Fireplaces will be shut from April - October for the summer season.

GRILL: Our outdoor BBQ grill uses a propane tank. Guests who would like to use the grill are responsible for refilling the tank if empty upon arrival.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
